Employment and education support

Support to take on study, training or work, from getting there on the day to building the skills and confidence to keep it going.

About this support

Starting a course or a job is a big step, and the practical parts can be the hardest: getting there, knowing what to expect, handling the social side and getting through the first few weeks.

We support you with the goal you have set, whether that is finishing a TAFE certificate, getting work ready or settling into a placement, and we keep the rest of your team in the loop as things progress.

What this can include

  • Assistance attending study or training
  • Support with employment-related goals
  • Building workplace and community participation skills
  • Travel training for work or study

Part of a connected team

Whatever the support, the way we work is the same. We stay in contact with your family, your support coordinator and your allied health professionals, and we keep documentation that shows what is happening across the plan period. That means the people who write assessments and reports have a clear picture, and you are not the one carrying the story between them.
