Transport support
Transport to the places you need to be, and travel training so that, where it is a goal, you can make the trip yourself.
About this support
Transport is often the thing that decides whether something happens at all. An appointment, a group, a job, a friend’s place: if you cannot get there, the rest does not matter.
We provide transport to appointments and community activities, and where independent travel is one of your goals we build it in, practising the bus or the tram route until it is familiar.
What this can include
- Transport to appointments
- Transport to community activities
- Travel training and public transport support
- Assistance accessing local services
Part of a connected team
Whatever the support, the way we work is the same. We stay in contact with your family, your support coordinator and your allied health professionals, and we keep documentation that shows what is happening across the plan period. That means the people who write assessments and reports have a clear picture, and you are not the one carrying the story between them.
